Creativity flows in my veins. It has always been a huge part of who I am and lately I’ve found myself in an amazing creative flow. Here’s some of the things I’ve made in my creative flow.

I always love doing crafts or designing things. I work as an art director, so it’s something I do on a daily basis both in and outside work. Lately, it’s as if I’ve found my way back to my creative spirit and have been overwhelmed with ideas and inspiration to create things on my free time. I’ve had several creative ideas in the back of my mind for months, but for whatever reason I have struggled to find the energy, motivation or inspiration to realise these ideas. Until now, that is.

Maybe it’s the change in seasons – Spring arriving with light, warmer weather, sunshine and a crisp scent in the air that’s making me feel more energy and inspiration to create. Whatever the reason, I’m so happy to be in this creative flow!

I wanted to share some of the projects I’ve been working on lately. Oh, and all of the items mentioned are available for purchase, if you see something you like.

I’ve been wanting to design stickers for a long time but not had an idea of what to design. And then it hit me and I spent two weekends illustrating an abundance of different designs and had them printed. Then I put hand made bags and labels, and have put together little sticker packs. I’m selling these stickers individually or in packs.

I finally got around to getting some thick textured aquarelle paper as well as paints and paint brushes and have spent the past weekend realising ideas that have been floating around in my head. I still have several more pieces I want to paint. Which one is your favorite?

Testing the color palette and mocking up some ideas while sipping coffee. My beautiful crystals always by my side, giving me inspiration.

This eye is one of the first pieces I finished. I loved making this and intend to do more versions of this. I have ideas for color variations I want to do.

Here’s a night sky piece I did. This one needs some work and I’m testing some other ideas and versions of night skies. It’s a fun motive to work with, and challenging to get the colors the way I’m envisioning.

In addition to the things I have been painting and designing, my creativity has also been flowing in little interior details. I purchased a beautiful triangle shelf (something I’ve been wanting forever) from the Etsy shop Copper Moon. I was so excited for the shelf to arrive and got straight to organising my crystals, air plant and mini cactus on it. Speaking of, I name all my plants – do you? The air plant on this shelf is new and I’ve named it Zip, the mini cactus is also new, and I’ve named it Boop.

I love this clear quartz crystal geode and the little piece of angel quartz. In the background is a rose quartz gem and more clear quartz as well as many other gems and crystals. Gorgeous!
